How easy is remortgaging?
Nowadays remortgaging is more straightforward and lenders have simplified their processes. Many offer help with the cost of switching.
Stirling Partners Finance are there to guide you through the above decision making processes and although it can seem complicated with so much choice our job is to help you find the right solutions by combining our knowledge of the marketplace with a good application of common sense.
We can deal with all lenders that make up the market place including a number that offer special remortgage packages. We will quickly work out which schemes offer the best value and discuss a shortlist with you.
The remortgaging process
- We conduct a fact finding session with you either face to face or by a combination of phone and email.
- We make a recommendation in writing.
- We help you make an application to a lender via the web, telephone or a paper application.
- The lender agrees the case and arranges a valuation of your property.
- A mortgage offer is produced.
- A solicitor switches the mortgage from your old lender to your new lender and sends a cheque to you if additional funds have been raised.
- You have a different mortgage company taking your direct debit, enjoy the benefits of your improved package and forget about remortgaging this property for a few years.
